21:21:30 - Kit: OK Vance, carefully now. I'd send you to medical too, but until we have sorted this out, I think we should stick together.

21:26:27 - Kit: OK, let's get going (following the Captain while supporting vance)
21:26:55 - Kraiger: Kriager follows, very alert.
21:27:05 - Methuslah: He turns down a side corridor, and calls back "This way. Almost there."
21:28:57 - Kraiger: (No sirens? No alarms? ) Kit - I've got a bad feeling about this - let me go on ahead...

21:30:36 - Methuslah: You hear a series of loud shots, and the captain falls to the deck, bleeding in two places.
21:31:32 - Kit: Oh darn! Vance, take cover (I try to pull the captain back into cover and attend his wounds)

21:32:35 - Methuslah: You manage to pull the captain back. He's in a bad way. Vance, you can hit the deck.
21:32:45 - Kraiger: Trying to find any cover - do I see where the shots came from?

21:33:45 - Methuslah: Wow! YOu stop the bleeding quickly, and manage to stabilize him. He starts to sit up, coughing.

21:35:09 - Methuslah: From down the corridor the captain was turning down. There is no cover i the corridor as such, except the brackets holding the emergency airlock seal.
21:35:36 - Kit: Captain, is there any way to reach the Admiral over comm or to call loyal guards?
21:36:46 - Methuslah: "Intercomm - if it isn't cut. Running on silent... so using fibreo's. Airlock - emergecny lock in his suite."
21:37:11 - Kraiger: Crap, this doesn't look good - stay down...
21:37:53 - Kraiger: Kraiger is keeping an eye down the corridor (without exposing himself)
21:38:06 - Kraiger: Kit, you'd better get us some help!
21:38:24 - Methuslah: You see five men, wearing combat armour armed with pistols.
21:39:02 - Kit: (points to captains Wristcomp) Sir, can you try to call help with that? And which is the fastest way to the Admiral's quarters?
21:39:52 - Kit: An emergeny Airlock in the captains suite? Can it be opened form outside?
21:40:20 - Kit: (Looking around, any intercom panel in reach?)
21:40:47 - Methuslah: "Yes. Last resort...should the ship be damaged..."
21:41:06 - Methuslah: You see a intercom high on the wall - but it has a thumbprint verification on it.
21:41:48 - Kit: There must be a way to put the ship into alert and to get a message to the Admiral! Some kind of emergency override. Captain? Any suggestions?
21:42:20 - Kit: Captain, if I help you up, do you think you can access the intercom up there?
21:43:06 - Methuslah: "I will try."
21:43:39 - Kit: (helping the captein up, careful not to put too much stress on his injuries)

21:45:38 - Methuslah: He staggers to his feet, lurching in your arms, but manages to thrust his thumb to the link, and gasp in his ident code. A face appears on the screen as the captain falls unconsiousl

21:45:54 - Methuslah: "Control. Lieutenant McMasters. What is it, Captain?"
21:46:59 - Kit: Lieutnant, The Captain has been attacked by some traitors. We need help here, adn we need to speak to the Admiral quickly, this is a major emergency.
21:48:52 - Kraiger: (Kriager is holding his fire waiting for ident on the five marines)
21:50:13 - Methuslah: "What! Extend your vision shot. let me see."
21:50:53 - Kit: The Captain was leading us to the Admirals Quarters when he was shot without warning. There are armed traitors in the corridor ahead.
21:51:05 - Kit: (extending his view as much as possible)
21:52:16 - Methuslah: "By the Lord! I'll get a security and medical detail down there. I can't put you throug to the Admiral - comunications in that section is down. A maintainance team were reparing it - any sign of them?"
21:53:10 - Kit: I have seen no sign of a mainenance taem. maybe the traitos got them. Can you send some guards, ones of whos loalty you are siure?
21:53:43 - Kraiger: Kit, its getting hard to tell friend from foe here...
21:53:50 - Kit: Do not, I repeat, do not send anyone associated with Captain (insert name of the guy who put us in quarantaine)
21:54:09 - Kraiger: (What are the marines doing - maintenance team?)
21:54:42 - Kit: I assume communication the the Admiral was sabotaged. he may be in Danger.
21:55:00 - Methuslah: "Er..o you insist. What's going on down there?"
21:56:06 - Kit: We are here with an urgent message for the Admiral. several Traitors have infiltrated this ship, they are trying to keep us from reaching the Admiral. They have already used lethal force to do so. We need to act quickly to sort out this mess.
21:57:54 - Methuslah: "Marine squad on the way, ma'am. I think...."
21:58:02 - Methuslah: The screen goes dark.
21:58:21 - Methuslah: The gunfire is increasing in intensity - it looks like they are setting up a PGMP.
21:58:24 - Kit: Is there any way you can override the comm silence? it's really doing more harm than good in this emergency!
21:59:19 - Kit: Oh darn. Kraiger, I think we'll have to do this on our own.
21:59:35 - vance: (can vance get into a vacc suit?)
21:59:52 - vance: (I mean is he fit to do so?)
22:00:07 - Kraiger: Crap. Kit, we've got to fall back! Find a place where we can hold up. Can you two make it with the Captain? (Kraiger returns fire 2D6: 7 )
22:00:09 - Kit: Looks like they would rather take the ship apart than let us reach the admiral.
22:00:28 - Kraiger: (How far are we from the lock where we stashed our heavy weapons?)
22:00:37 - Kit: Do you think you can keep them busy for a while? maybe falling back slowly?
22:01:22 - Kit: Currently my idea is to stash these two where they are reasonably safe for a while and going outside to go to the Admiral through the back door.
22:01:42 - Methuslah: You nailed one of the men setting up the gun. He falls back, grabbing his arm.
22:01:45 - Kit: maybe if I go alone, you can distract them for a while?
22:01:51 - Methuslah: About a hundred meters.
22:02:06 - Kit: What about it?
22:03:15 - Kit: Vance, do you think you can hole up with the Captain somewhere and manage for a while? here is a stimulant (hand Vance a styringe) but only use it in an emergency, it takes quite a toll on an injured body.
22:03:59 - Kraiger: Me and a snub pistol against five marines with a PGMP! We won't last two minutes...
22:04:51 - Kit: Then fall back slowly to your own big gun. Keep moving, you have to distract them from the two injured men.
22:05:00 - vance: "any suggestions captain? else we have to find a hidey-hole..."
22:05:23 - Kit: (is there some place to hide the two injured men? like a large locker along the floor or such?
22:05:33 - Kraiger: OK, (fires again 2D6: 4) get them well hidden!
22:05:36 - Kit: (the captain is unconscious)
22:05:39 - Methuslah: The captain is still out cold.
22:05:49 - Methuslah: The corridor is bare, until further along by the airlock.
22:06:23 - Kit: (As soon as I spot a suitable place I get Vance and the captain there, then head back to the airlock where we entered as fast as I can)
22:06:55 - Kit: What about the office of the captain? It should be around here somewhere?
22:07:14 - Methuslah: A couple of the enemy are moving up to the turning into your corridor.
22:07:20 - Methuslah: Back about fifty meters.
22:07:47 - Kraiger: (Kraiger leans back, and re-loads with a magazing of gas-tranq) Kit, its going to get smelly here
22:07:58 - Kraiger: Fires off entire clip! 2D6: 7
22:08:07 - Kit: Grabbing the Captain, Come on vance, you'll have to get to the captains office on your own, I cannot carry you both.
22:08:12 - Kraiger: (Reloads with HEAP)
22:09:07 - Kit: (rushing back the corridor to the captains office, carrying the captain) I'm getting too old for this kind of stunt.

22:09:36 - Methuslah: You get the first one, who falls, but the other one points his gun and fires. rd26

22:10:36 - Kraiger: (These are gas rounds - should give us a little cover)
22:10:43 - Kit: vance, try to get the captain to cover (setting the captain down in front of his office door and continuing down the corridor to the airlock in a sprint)
22:10:59 - Kraiger: Kriager follows them back up the corridor, firing HEAP rounds back at the enemy - 2D6: 2
22:11:07 - Kraiger: Crap!
22:11:14 - Kit: (I'm heading straight for the locker where Kraiger stored his big gun)
22:11:18 - Methuslah: The gun has jammed.
22:11:32 - Methuslah: YOu make it to the locker, and find the PGMP ready to go.
22:11:58 - Kit: Kraiger, down (firing pgmp as soon as I see him drop)
22:12:32 - Kraiger: Drop the snub pistol, and reach for my auto pistol....
22:12:58 - Kit: 2D6: 10 (hopefully that shot gets the enemy to at least take some cover then I want to slide the pgmp towards Kraiger while heading for the neares functioning suit)
22:13:05 - Kraiger: Turning to see Kit pointing a PGMP at him... "Kit, noooooooooo " Diving and rolling
22:13:11 - vance: vance looks around the captain's office for a comm system.
22:14:03 - Kit: Kraiger, you take over the big gun, I'll head for the capatins cabin (sliding pgmp along floor towards Kraiger)
22:14:19 - Methuslah: Your shot blasts the marine to atoms, then carries on. The wall begins to rupture, and sirens begin to sound - outer hull breach!
22:15:26 - Kit: Oh darn. Át least we got the alarm going. (Grabbing one suit, sliding it ti Kraiger, jumping into another (not my damaged one))
22:16:03 - Kit: I know why I hate these big guns. Shit Shit Shit
22:16:07 - vance: vance looks around the office for some kind of emergency vacc suit instead.
22:16:59 - Kit: vance seal up the office. The door should be airtight (at least if this spaceship is built anything like the ships I know)
22:17:01 - Kraiger: Kraiger scrabbles to his feet, holstering his auto-pistol, and grabbing the vacc suit
22:17:59 - vance: (is this cabin airtight?)
22:18:20 - Kit: (are vance and the Captain safe in the office?)
22:18:44 - Methuslah: The door doubles as an airlock - standard proceedure. YOu manage to get in there before decompression. The readings of outer atmosphere begin to go down.
22:19:32 - Methuslah: OK. You both manage to scramble into the vacc suits. You see a gaping hole in the hull.
22:19:39 - Kit: I just hope everyone in this sector is fit in his emergency decompression preocedures.
22:20:06 - Kit: What about our attackers?
22:20:48 - Kraiger: I pick up the PGMP as soon as I am in my vacc suit "Dang Kit, blow a hole in the hull, and then leave me with the smoking gun!"
22:21:01 - Methuslah: They have all scrambled out of sight, presumbley trying to get into suits.
22:21:17 - Kit: Do you think you could have done better? That guy was about to fire at you!
22:22:29 - vance: vance looks around for an emergency vacc suit anyway, and a comm system. he tries his intraocular computer comm link again - any hits?
22:22:51 - Kit: We should get going. Do you want to come along outside or stay here and keep an eya on Vance and the Captain?
22:23:44 - Methuslah: There is an emergency suit in the locker. The computer system is out - many of the cables would have run through the outer hull.
22:24:12 - Kit: If I counted correctly, of the five enemies, two are injured and one ... well... gone.
22:24:18 - Kraiger: Lets give it a try...
22:24:41 - Kraiger: No telling how many more there were though...
22:25:30 - Kit: OK, (Heading outside the ship again) Kraiger, better get us tied together again. (getting out safety line)
22:26:52 - Methuslah: As you move down the corridor, a group of five figures float down from around the corner. One grabs his gun, and points it at you.. (Cliffhanger!)
22:26:58 - vance: vance puts the emergency suit on the captain.
22:27:18 - Kit: AArgh!
22:27:31 - Kraiger: Whoo-ee! That was fun!
22:27:35 - Kit: Why do we have to end with guns being pointed at me!
22:27:47 - vance: (yeah, you got to shoot stuff)
